Barnet Residents Association works to protect our heritage by campaigning against any development that might impact the character of the local area including protection of the green belt. We actively support the High Street through contacting landlords and owners about empty units and neglected properties. To support businesses directly we have created a free parking map of the area and a worked-on initiatives like Your Digital High Street the local online business directory. We also support a fundamental review of business rates to help small businesses grow. If you have a similar passion to support our community please email chair@barnetresidentsassociation.org.uk. B.R.A. was founded in 1934 and is a non-political civic group representing both High Barnet and Underhill wards.

Barnet Society is a non-political organisation that campaigns for the preservation and improvement of the environment of Chipping Barnet and surrounding areas and for protection of the Green Belt. The Barnet Society works to ensure that we get the best for our town and its environs and that any change enhances and improves the area for all who live, work and study here. We represent the areas covered by Chipping (or High) Barnet, Hadley, New Barnet, Arkley, Underhill and the Dollis Valley. We are always looking for new members, so if you live locally, are concerned about your surroundings and want to know what is happening in the area, then join us, and make The Barnet Society even more effective.
